Kawakawa has been used in Maori Medicine (Rongoā) for centuries. Used topically in a balm it is purported to help reduce the inflammation associated with various skin ailments including cuts, wounds, bruises, psoriasis, eczema and rashes (including nappy rash).
Kawakawa infused Olive Oil is combined with Calendula Infused Olive Oil, Hemp Seed Oil, our pure New Zealand Beeswax and Essential Oils of Lavender & Kānuka to create a smooth, silky, soothing balm that glides on easily and absorbs well.
Calendula Oil has anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, and anti-bacterial properties that complement the Kawakawa beautifully.
